The Eau Claire Golf and Country Club ensures that children of all ages are included in the fun throughout the calendar year.
We kick off each summer at the pool with an Egg-cellent Pool Extravaganza which includes a DJ, buffet, games, prizes, and of course swimming in our two pools. Throughout the summer, the lifeguards will keep your kids busy by offering activities and throughout the week. Additionally, the pool offers “kid nights” where lifeguards will feed and entertain your son or daughter – while you enjoy a relaxed dinner or nine and dine. We also host “flick and float” nights, which allow you to float on the water and watch a movie on the big screen. As a yearly tradition, we host a pool carnival with giant blow-up attractions, DJ, buffet, cotton candy, icees, henna, and so much more!
While the Club emphasizes fun we also believe in the success of each child and want to give them skills to last a lifetime. That is why we fill the summer with lessons. Allen Van Dong, our tennis professional, has been teaching tennis for years and provides quality skills to each individual he works with. Assistant Golf Pro Mike Greer teaches children all about sportsmanship and skills to make golf a lifelong sport for them. Laura DeLestry, our pool manager, organizes American Red Cross swimming lessons for all ages starting at six months to provide the fundamental skills that will help children and adults make smart decisions around aquatic environments for the rest of their lives.
When the summer is over, our kid involvement does not diminish. The Club invites all members to attend Family Night every Thursday night. We also make holidays fun and family oriented, from our Halloween brunch, which includes painting pumpkins and hayrides, to Brunch with Santa and annual Easter Brunch with an egg hunt. Additionally, our Kids Cooking Class is a great opportunity to teach your child how to cook, fun healthy foods.
