Meet Nick Peinovich

Nick Peinovich has worked at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club for 9 years; previously as Assistant Superintendent, and as Golf Course Superintendent since September of 2016. Prior to his time here he worked at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, MN (3 years) and Mill Run/Wild Ridge in Eau Claire (5 years). Educated at the University of Minnesota, Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture – Turfgrass Science Emphasis and a Master of Agriculture in Horticulture Science – Turfgrass Science Emphasis and Soil Science Graduate Minor. Since 2014, he has taught the Turf and Irrigation Management course at Chippewa Valley Technical College as Adjunct Instructor.

Nick and his wife Maggie hail from Durand but have lived in Menomonie since 2008 where they had their 3 children (Ian, Sadie, Noah). They built a new house in Downsville in 2016. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, reading, and of course playing with his children.
