Meet Jim Julsrud

Golf Professional Emeritus

Jim has been a Class A-1 member of the PGA of America since July, 1980, and served as the Head Golf Professional at Eau Claire Golf & Country Club since March, 1981. Prior to this time, Jim’s experience as an apprentice and assistant was gained at two of Minnesota’s finest private Clubs: the White Bear Yacht Club, and The Town & Country Club of St. Paul. He has been an active member of the Wisconsin Section of the PGA of America, serving several years as a board member, and Employment/Club Relations Chairman for the section. From this experience, Jim is a two-time recipient of the WPGA Bill Straughsbaugh /Club Relations Award, and was named WPGA Section Professional of the Year in 1998. As a player, some of Jim’s accomplishments: won the WPGA Pro-Assistant’s Championship three times; a member of the WPGA Nelthorp Cup team (1995); and qualified for, and competed in, the 2011 PGA of America’s National Club Professional Senior Championship. He is an accomplished teacher of the game, able to help coach all golfers from novice, to top amateurs and professionals.
